Award-winning and internationally renowned, the Bournemouth Air Festival has entertained more than 9.2 million people since 2008.
What’s on?
30 August – 2 September 2018.
Whatever you want to see, be it on land, sea or in the air – don’t forget that you can get the best views right on the beach.
Breitling Jet Team
Performing for the first time at this year’s Air Festival the Breitling Jet Team have not displayed at a UK civilian air show for nearly 15 years and never on the south coast of England. A first for Bournemouth!
RAF Red Arrows
One of the world’s premier aerobatic display teams the Red Arrows represent the speed, agility and precision of the Royal Air Force and we are delighted that they will yet again be gracing the skies over Bournemouth this year.
RAF HC2 Chinook
The unmistakable “wocka wocka” of the Chinook is one of the most distinctive sounds in the sky and it makes a welcome return to Bournemouth again this year. Always a crowd pleaser.
Super Pitts Muscle Plane
In an Air Festival first, pilot Rich Goodwin will be showcasing the Muscle Biplane Pitts S2S G-EWIZ. This daredevil routine will combine aerial manoeuvres and high energy muscle biplane aerobatics!
Step onto the sandy shore of the Atlantic ocean for a traditional tend dining. You’ll get a bit of Egyptian dining experience – Though Beduins traditionally dwell in deserts, their culture inspired this seaside dining experience, which features authentic Egyptian cuisine and entertainment.
